My friend (29) just got married and after some months will carry an erection for more than 24hrs. Also, what connection does it have with excess white blood cells in the body?

He needs to get to the doctor. STAT. Whatever's causing it, erections lasting more than a couple of hours can do serious and permanent damage to the blood vessels and tissue in that area. If he wants to keep having erections past tomorrow, he'd better go today.

An elevated white blood count indicates the presence of an infection. The white blood cells, leucocytes are produced to destroy an infection. Aslo a high level can be seen whith some allergic reactions, the body acts as if there is an infection present. An erection lasting that long is abnormal and may indicate a neurological problem. I think i've heard of a tumour on the spine causing this, but there are probably 101 reasons why this is happening. Whatever the reason it must be pretty uncomfortable. The poor man needs to go to see his Dr ASAP.

It has nothing to do with excess white cells in the body. Excess white cells means your body is fighting an infection. An erection lasting over 24 hours has to do with some broken negative feedback loop. I think it's calcium or something...damn I forget exactly how erections work on a chemical basis. Never thought it would have came in handy knowing how viagra works. But despite what the metabolite is, an erection lasting over 24 hours is pretty gay. I suggest your friend either stop masturbating without release for 24 hours straight, or to stop taking whatever drugs he swears he's not taking. Maybe he's got his viagra mixed up with his flintstones chewable vitamines Or maybe his wife is poisoning him Or maybe you're poisoning him.

Erection is caused by BLOOD-FLOW to male-organ. This case is ABNORMAL. Needs investigation of blood & nervous system.
