You could be referring to most probably one of two things.

Most likely it is harmless.

Most female rabbits (depending on the breed), get what is called a dewlap under their chin. It is a flabby piece of skin/hide that forms under their chin as they get older. It is common in most breeds of rabbits. Some small breeds of rabbits consider it a disqualification for the rabbit, but most breeds allow a dewlap. The larger the dewlap is, the fatter the rabbit is and the looser the hide will be around the back of the rabbit's neck.

If you are really concerned about the lump under its chin, then feel under the chin. If the flesh is soft, then it is just a dewlap. If you feel a hard knot, then the rabbit may have an abscess (an infected spot similar to a large zit) under the skin.

that's maximum possibly what's declared as a "dewlap". no longer all does advance them, yet many do while they attain the age of sexual adulthood (4-6 months of age). this added fold of epidermis and fur is what they use to pull fur from to make a nest while they have little ones. some greenbacks even advance them in the event that they are allowed to get too fat. It does no longer mean she will truthfully have little ones, in basic terms that she's waiting to make an incredible heat living house for them if she ever does mate. completely time-honored!

Get it checked out and fast. Could be a number of things..

- A abcess,
- A parasite,
- Deep wound?

But whatever you do, get your bunny to a vet and make sure it gets the all clear. They know what they are talking about and if it is something serious, then this is the best way forward. You can't judge things with not seeing them.

Kind of like a fat flap?? My rabbit had that. I dont remember what it was called. Harmless, though.
If it is like bump, you need to take her to a vet.
