i'm not in the religion section
i'm in the home screen trying to look for a good queston to answer and there are a lot of religion questions.

People find it hard to discuss religion and politics in their normal social life. Y!A provides a means were people can express their ideas and ask questions with the feeling that they are anonymous, so they do not have to worry about offending others and feeling that others will view them differently.

This is the section that your question is in: " Religion & Spirituality". Should be pretty obvious why there are so many religious questions.

Because this is the religion section of Y!A. One would expect questions about religion. I find it annoying there are so many questions about computers...so I don't click on that section.

becuase you are in Religion section, if you go to other sections, you will find more questions related to that section. If you are really bored, it is better not to click on Y\A icon.

You should try specific sections then, as opposed to the home page. Yes, we're annoying-but we like it that way.

I think that no matter where you go... religion and politics will always make their way in.
I don't find it annoying that people are just searching for answers to life questions, albeit on Yahoo Answers.
