ok so this has always caught my curiosity. why do you belive there is a trinity? in the bible when jesus was on earth he prayed to his father in heaven ie God. how do you pray to youself? in mathew 3:16 it says when jesus was baptized god's spirit came to him. not god his spirit. god's spirit is just his active force not a person. in deuteronomy 6:4 it says listen o isreal jehovah is our god is one god.malachi 2:10 is it not 1 father that all of us have? is it not 1 god that has created us? mark 10:18 jesus said to him why do you call me good? no 1 is good except one, god.

I used to believe in the trinity.
Then, I was asked why I believed in the trinity when the word trinity does not exist anywhere in the Bible. Intrigued, I searched the scriptures for the word, or even the overt doctrine, when I could not find it, I was finally on my way to undoing the religious indoctrination from my parents,.... the atheist indoctrination from the schools, and eventually arrived at equilibrium.
Bottom line? No word trinity, no overt doctrine to be found in the Bible. So?, I abandoned the concept. Later, I uncovered that the trinity is a concept that originated entirely outside of the Bible, and was incorporated onto Christianity centuries after the last of Jesus' disciples had died.
Jesus is the son of God, and is always in subjection.
God is his father and creator (Col 1:15).
Headship as revealed to us by Paul is thus:
God.
Jesus.
The man.
The woman.
Children.

Why would anyone have difficulty believing in the Trinity? If we all totally understood the true nature of God He would not be worthy of our worship! How many persons am I? I am all of the following;
A son
A brother
A husband
A cousin
A nephew
A father
A brother-in-law
A grandson
and so on.
Did not Jesus make the truth extraordinarily clear in John 3:18? There is absolutely no way outside of Jesus Christ that you can be saved.
The 144K can't save you as they will be here on earth to preach the gospel during the tribulation. They will be 12K from eeach of the 12 tribes of Israel. If you are saved, born again, you will not be heren for the tribulation.
John Ch.1 V1 "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God."
John Ch.1 V14 "And the Word was made fleah and dwelt amongst us."
Simple; Jesus is God.

Nowhere in the Bible you could fine the word trinity neither trium or anything else that declares that God is 3. However if we look into the matter closely, we find that the word God is not really in the singular form but in plural from.
The singular form of God is Eloah while the plural form is Elohim. Eloah was used several time to describe Jehovah alone while elohim was used many times throughout the Bible.
I believe that the best analogy of this matter would probably this.
a. MAN - man is composed of the body, soul, and spirit - 3-composition yet he was called man, soul and spirit is invisible and only the body is visible.
b. TIME - time is composed of the past, present and future, 3-composition yet they are called time. past and future is invisible and only the present is visible.
c. GOD - god is a composition of 3 person, Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Father and the Holy Ghost is invisible and the only the son is visible.
There are many indications in the Bible that this 3 divine person act together in the salvation of man.

I think that is like asking "How can God be in two places at once.
You know anything about quantum physics?
Neither do I but it kinda flies in the face of relativity and yet both must be true, from what I've heard (very little)
I think the Kingdom of God (Spiritual Realm) must be even more difficult to understand right now (seeing through a glass dimly)
Still we know God is omnipresent.
Is Jesus God? No, not by himself.
Is The Father God? same answer.
And the Holy Spirit? you guessed it.
And last but not least... The Body of Christ.
Too much to handle.... right now.

Jesus never claimed to be equal to God. He said . . "You heard me say, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I." (John 14:28).So, then, what is the origin of the Trinity doctrine? Notice what well-known encyclopedias say about that. The New Encyclopedia Britanica says:"Neither the word Trinity, nor the explicit doctrine as such, appears in the new Testament, nor did Jesus and his followers intend to contradict the Shema in the Old Testament:'Hear, O Israel: The Lord God is one Lord' (Deutronomy6:4).....The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries and through many controversies.....By the end of the 4th century....the doctrine of the Trinity took substantially the form it has maintained ever since.' (1976) Micropaedia, Vol10.P126.
The Catholic Encyclopedia states:"The formulation'one God in three Persons' was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its proffession of faith. prior to the end of the 4th century. But it is precisely this formation that has first claim to the title the Trinitarian dogma. Among the Apostolic Fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective." (1967) Vol14 p299.
In theEncyclopedia Americana we read: "Christianity derived from Judaism and Judaism was strictly Unitarian(believing God is one Person). The road which led from Jerusalem to Nicea was scarcely a straight one. Fourth century Trinitarianism did not reflect accurately early Christian teaching regarding the nature of God; it was on the contrary, a deviation from this teaching(1956) Vol27,p2941.
According to the Nouveau Dictionnaire Universel;"The Platonic trinity, itself merely a rearrangement of older trinities dating back to earlier peoples, appears to be the rational philosophic trinity attributes that gave birth to the three hypostases or divine trinity....can be found in all the ancient(pagan) religions.)Paris1865--1870), edited by M. Lacharete, Vol,2,p1467.
Jesus himself actually tells us who he is: what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, 'I am God's Son'? (John10:36) Did he say he was God or God's son?God's son!

You will not find the word "Trinity" in the Bible but there are many references to a triune God.
Go,therefore, make disciples of all nations; baptise them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Father, you sent your Word to bring us truth, and you spirit to make us holy.Through them we come to know the mystery of your life. Help us to worship you, one God in three persons.
Father, all powerful and ever living God, we do well always and everywhere to give you thanks. We joyfully proclaim our faith in the mystery of your Godhead. You have revealed your glory as the glory also of your Son and of The Holy Spirit, three Persons equal in majesty undivided in splendour, yet one Lord one God,ever to be adored in your everlasting glory.
EDIT.......The New World Translation (1950, the Jehovah's Witnesses Bible ) should be avoided because it is actually corrupt, being a sectarian paraphrase rather than a true translation of the Holy Scriptutes.

Active Force..... YOUR A Jehovah Witness !!!!!!!!!
you also believe the 144000 will save you????? and not Jesus....
GUYS!!! JESUS IS NOT THE SON OF GOD... BUT THE ONLY BEGGOTEN SON OF GOD. JESUS IS GOD..... NOT A GOD...
You need to read the KJV bible and not the false translations that remove the divinity of Jesus. NIV even says Jesus was "A" God, which is false. to much to mention...
if you don't believe the 144000 will save you JW then you dont follow the watchtower teachings means your NOT a JW but a heretic n the eyes of JW's
JW even think the angel micheal is Jesus!! and when you die then that's it, no hell, and the 144000 are JW members alive today. to much to mention here....

God presented Himself to us in a way we can understand. He knows we are not able to grasp all things concerning Him. He should know...He made us.
We first come to God as children. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, for of such is the kingdom of God." A child is first fed milk and pablum. Then he moves to strained carrots and peas (yuk). In due course he is enjoying a hearty meal of steak and potatos. The heavier mysteries of God are revealed to us as we grow in Him. It is unfortunate that so many pearls have been cast before swine, for they are surely being trampled under foot. The doctrine of Trinity, or the Godhead, is one of those great pearls. The wisdom of the world considers the wisdom of God to be foolishness.
During his time of ministering on earth Jesus held some things in confidence with his disciples. He warned them not to reveal those things before it was time. The world was just not ready for it yet. The complexity and completeness as well as the utter simplicity of his relationship with us would be trampled under feet that intended to ridicule and destroy.
We are saved despite our imperfect knowledge. We do not have to know all things at first. As we grow with the guidance of the Holy Spirit we learn.
There is one God. He has made Himself known to us in the beginning as the Almighty. He came to us in human form as the Son. He remains within us as the Holy Spirit. God is not defined as our minds would think. He is capable of being in all places at all times in any form He chooses. To be the Father and the Son at the same time is no great feat for Him. Both were and are fully God, seperate and distinct as well as one and united.
This very loving God came to His created and taught us our proper attitude toward Him through the Son. Jesus taught us how to live and pray through his example. The Word became flesh, not the other way around. He knew the desires of God and taught them to us. He maintained a seperation from the Father for our understanding.

Read carefully:
All of Jesus is God but not all of God is Jesus. God dispatched a portion of His Spirit to inhabit a body of flesh and blood that we know as Jesus.
While encased in this body of His, and although he spiritually speaking was of God, He also had the same trials and tribulations of any man. He hurt. He hungered. He loved. He cried.
With the crucifixion, God sacrificed HIMSELF (God the Son) TO HIMSELF (God the Father).
And our Father God is awesome beyond compare! Praise Him with me!
