Listen to this song "Noapte Buna" By 5 year old Romanian, Cleopatra Stratan (3 at the time)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGd4VhOz81E

Translation:

When night comes
Sleep comes to children
To tell them "Good Night"
And tell stories to their toys
In the little house
Dwarfs stay still
Where the fairy gives her hand
To the prince and everybody's happy...
To the prince and everybody's happy...
To the prince and everybody's happy...

And from the sky
The full moon weds you
Where stars gather
Countless in the sky
In her tiny coat
Beautiful like a dream
She gets in our room
Even if the window isn't open anymore...
Even if the window isn't open anymore...
Even if the window isn't open anymore...

And in the morning she comes to life
The pink life of fairytales
She waits quiet
To play with us again
Every toy
Her whole universe
Has a soul and it's alive
Only, Grown-ups don't understand...
Only, Grown-ups don't understand...
Only, Grown-ups don't understand...

No its not wierd at all. Before I used to not understand Japanese and listened to artists like ANgela Aki and Yuna Ito. It never mattered to me, I loved the way their music sounded, especially their voices, so i enjoyed the music without even understanding the words. but it is helpful to know what they ar saying. I can understand them now and it just makes their music even more beautiful than it already is. So there isnt anything wrong with it. Just listen and enjoy what you hear. People might think its wierd that you listen to stuff you dont understand. But hey, would you rather you listen to something you could understand but hate? or something that you may not understand at first and love it. Dont mind what people say. Just choose what music suits you best and stick with it and enjoy.

No way! I live in Europe, and there are some songs that I love, and I have no understanding of what is being sung! The songs may have a terrific beat, or they are sung in a very meaningful way!
One example was 'Warum' by a German group named 'Tic Tac Toe'. It was a very nice song and it was made into a super video! I think that it could have been a world wide hit if the song had been sung in English.

No. I love some songs sung in English where I can't even understand what the person is saying. Music is about how something sounds. It's not necessarily about the meaning of the words.

Nope. My favorite bands are Korean and Chinese. I rarely listen to anything in English any more. Nevermind the words, there are other awesome types of sound out there that most Americans will never hear and are therefore missing out on.

Yes, I enjoy a spanish song called "Avalancha" by Heroes Del Silencio. I first heard it on Guitar Hero 3. Ever since, I can't stop playing the track on my pc. Listening to it now.

I like the songs in the Sims 2 game, and they're all in "simlish"! Its good fun to try to work out what the words stand for though. It's almost like a game :D

i think its normal. i mean, maybe you liked the song because of the melody. that's pretty normal.

i listen to korean songs. i make the effort of finding the english translation as it gives another meaning to the song when you know what the artist/s is singin' about.

No it's normal. I prefer to find out what they mean though, but that may be AFTER I come to like them.

No, I really don't think it's weird. That is why I listen to opera! It is not about being weird, it is about you and what you like; no matter what other people say about it!
