My shower was in april and my wedding in May. Personally, I feel that it should be atleast a month before the wedding. Mainly, because weddings and showers are expensive for the people attending. I told people until I was blue in the face not to soend alot of $$$ but, people don't wanna feel 'cheap' so they always spend alot. Plus, the ppl in your wedding party also have to buy dresses and get their hair done for the big day. It really adds up! So, I think a month is a good amount of time to give ppl to regroup!

I would say a month before the wedding. I told my best friend to plan my shower early in the evening in April and plan the bachelorette party later that night. We are getting married on that Sunday before Memorial's Day Monday. So we have a lot to already do that weekend.

I been to showers on the two days. those on Saturdays, although, have been "brunch" showers and have been performed around 10:00 am and complete by applying approximately midday. On Sundays, because of the fact some human beings flow to church, the showers have been performed interior the early to previous due afternoon. i've got additionally been to showers that have been performed on weeknights too, that one and all started at approximately 6:00 and ended around 8:00 or so. i'd get a pair of your bridesmaids and key relatives that are meant to be on the bathe and ask what they think of will artwork for each individual. good good fortune and congrats on your wedding ceremony!

I think that 4-6 weeks so it doesn't start to interfere with 'lead up to the big day', wedding preparations.

Then have a hens night or bachelerette party the weekend before the wedding or you will have a serious headache the morning of the wedding. And its too much to do any closer to the big day!

We thought about 2 months before the wedding but then it would have been in January and we live in Nebraska so we decided on December so worrying about the snow won't be such an issue. So for my opinon, whatever works for your schedual!
