The Bible does have rules forbidding physical mutilation (other than circumcision), but I don't remember body piercing being mentioned specifically.

"Do not clip your hair at the temples, nor trim the edges of your beard. Do not lacerate your bodies for the dead, and do not tattoo yourselves. I am the Lord." - Leviticus 19:27-28

Having a tattoo is just as evil as having short hair and trimming or shaving your beard. Body piercing would probably go in the same category and get you sent straight to hell.

In the Jewish religion getting a tattoo is a really bad sin, probably not too far behind murder, rape, and worshipping idols. I heard that you can't be buried in a Jewish cemetery if you have a tattoo, but I'm not sure how true this is. I suspect that body piercings are not good either. If you aren't Jewish you can probably do whatever you want. Maybe you should check with someone more in charge of your religion, like a priest or minister, etc.

men and women on or before Christ have already adorned themselves with jewelry.Some part of the bible depicted the excessive wearing of jewelry as related to worshipping the golden cow or to what the Jews did in those days with their paganism/ animism.as to piercing, well, the jewelry they worn are actually pierced to their bodies.Just put it this way..ever Wonder why Mary ,Joseph and all those people who were with Jesus,even JC Himself and the prophets before him didn't engage in body piercing

I believe it is everybody's own choice how you read these scriptures, like a lot of the bible it is open to interpretation.
So I'm not sure that there is a yes or no answer but the following three scriptures are commonly used in churches as reasons not to have it done. I feel they are very broad and can be read in many different ways so my best advice is go with what your heart says.

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;

Body is a temple, and not your own. Don't ravish it with worldly items.

1Cr 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

1Cr 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
