I mean, do you ever feel like you don't want to do anything at all? Not sleep, eat, watch tv, see anyone... I got sort of worried when I had this feeling for the first time, because I'm too depressed to do anything, but sitting here doing nothing just makes it worse. If you do ever get to feeling like that, what do you do?

There is nothing at all wrong with feeling like that. Are you actually suffering from depression and on medication. I sometimes feel like doing absolutely nothing and I am not depressed. There is nothing wrong with you if you feel like doing nothing, especially if it was for a couple of hours stretch. I would think that everyone's body needs time to shut down and just contemplate and sort of re-group. Sitting doing nothing and not wanting to sleep, eat, watch tv or see anyone could just be described as meditation. I have suffered from depression quite badly in the past though so understand if you feel bad for not wanting to do anything. Can I suggest what I did- although it is hard, force yourself to go out for a walk somewhere beautiful and everytime you have a negative thought - stop yourself and think something positive. Appreciate this is easier said than done if you feel really low but I have managed it now. Good luck. Sending you out some positive vibrations.

don't take antidepressants they mess up your system
specially if you are too young
when i feel like that
i just lay down
think about how my life is going and the paths i am taking
and what is good or bad
once you start thinking
you find stuff to do
and then realize that there is a lot of **** you could do
even fun relaxing stuff that you have never tried before
try something new!

I often feel like doing nothing. I just go with the flow and do nothing. A bigger problem for me is not being able to decide just what I do want to do.

Welcome to the real world. Everyone feels like that at some point..some more than others. No big deal.
What do I do? Nothing. That's the point. Sometimes your brain and body just need to chill.
