I have a migrain; my cat was just run over by the UPS truck; There Is a snake on my patio; I woke up this morning to find the police were stringing yellow tape all over my neighborhood; I was a witness to a wreck on the way to work; someone stole my dog; I could not find my car keys; there is a raccoon in my attic; ghosts were talking all nigh tlong in my house; I want to a baseball game last night and won a free happy hour after the game at the bar across the street;

-There's a kitty cat caught in the fan belt in my car. It cries every time I turn on the engine.
-My kid flushed my car key down the toilet.
-There's a herd of loose horses in the middle of my street and I can't go around them.
-The electricity is off in my neighborhood and I can't get ready for work in the dark. The electric company said it will be about six hours before it's back on.
-I wanted to have the afternoon off so I had my son call me at work. I acted like he was really sick and needed me to pick him up from school.

Funny thing is, all of these things honestly have happened to me in the past, but I did lie about my son being sick so I could take off work. My boss believed my fib about my sick son but just would not believe the true one about the horses though. Those boogers had gotten loose and it took an hour for the owner to get them back in their lot.

I'm running out at both ends.
My kitten was flattened.
My dog chewed my tires and they are flat now.
I had a birth in the family
My hanster had puppies,
My mother had a nervous break down
My father was drunk and passed out on the couch and I don't want him to be here by himself.

Your apartment flooded, death or illness in the family, couldn't get anyone to bail you out of jail, your sunburn hurt too bad, your boyfriend handcuffed you and lost the key.
