The border patrol agents that shot the Mexican drug dealer and got sentenced to ten plus years in jail need to come home. What can we as citizens do to try and free these men. They were doing their job and should not have been convicted.

This guy was known to law enforcement as a drug smuggler. He had a load if drugs when the stopped him. He ran when they tried to stop him, they thiought he had a gun and fired. he was wounded and made it back to Mexico. They failed to report it and the Mexican athourities reported it as a crime. The agents were arrested and while they were waiting to be tried he was caught again smuggling drugs in the US. the feds failed to report this arrest untill he testified against the agents and they were convicted.

Do what slicktop wrote, and bombard your Congressman and Senators with letters about the injustice served on these men. Glenn Beck has T-Shirts on his site that feature "US Border Patrol - To Protect and Serve Time" Profits go towards their defense.

Bury them in Snail Mail
500 letters on 1 persons desk
might make a point.

Ask Bush to pardon them

or whomever

Start burning Mexican flags. Have mass protests at the Mexican Embassy. Tell Republicans not one more penny given to campaigns, not one more vote until our borders are secure and these Border Patrol Agents are freed. Hysteria works for liberal causes, it's time we use their playbook.

Getting that preening, swell headed idiot Sutton out of office would be a good start. Maybe the next AG will reconsider the case and move to have the conviction vacated. It was a jury trial, so it's gonna be hard to get it reversed.

Have you read anything in depth on this case, or just what the media has told you?
Yes, they were "doing their jobs", but they also lied, and tried to cover up what they did.
I think the sentence was too harsh, but they commit a crime as well.

I see also the guy they shot is back in trouble with the law....

Once a crook.

put some mexican in jail, call Fox News -have them blow it all out of proportion, then make a trade, or threaten to dispose of all mexicans, I mean illegals.

The don't need to be freed, the are right where they belong. You don't shoot anyone for merely running away.
