I work with a female co-worker in a professional architecture firm. One day she asks how old I was and I replied, "26" then she said... "Man, I am getting old."

A few months later... she said to me, "For someone your age you communicate good."

Now I'm wondering... is she saying I look like a kid but am mature for my age? Ladies; Any comments?

her reply was an honest, on the spot reply... i know cuz i've said it myself.

her comment on your communication skills was a compliment, nothing more.

don't read more into this than it is or you'll drive yourself crazy.

p.s. have any of the men in the office made similar comments or are you only focusing on the women's comments?

my suggestion: focus on your job.

First off the two comments are not related necessarily. The first one is just a comment that time has passed quickly the second one is that youhave good communication skills.
