Do you mean Ireland, u forgot to do a spell check! You may offend. First thing to consider is your age if you are under 30 you can apply for a working holiday visa in both countries for a year. There are lots of other visa's as well. 3 month holiday, etc. It also depends what country you are now living in as different countries have different arrangements with the government for Visa's. check out www.immi.gov.au for visa info. Basically if you like rain go to Ireland and sun in oz. If you can get past the rain Ireland is beautiful and is full of history. I.m only starting to appreciate what it has since I,ve been here in oz.

First, I'd be wanting to get a residence visa before worrying about citizenship. Check the Australian government website for info, and also the state government websites.
Asking for us to tell you about our country is a bit much! What do you want to know? It doesn't matter where you live, you still get up, go to work, then come home again.
