pbuh means peace be upon him. Jesus already has the title prince of peace.

because Jesus and the other prophets don't need to have their butts kissed with petty signs of respect. You either respect them or you don't.
The "pbuh" is just a for show to make one appear to be more respectful than someone else.

Because christians don't believe their prophets care whether or not they stick a three or four letter (SAW or PBUH) abbreviation after every single mention of their names? Why would a god or prophet so petty as to insist upon that convention, anyway?

Because Jesus is God and He doesn't need anything. He is the Prince of Peace, that's in the Bible.
Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
The Old Testament prophets knew Him. He was the one talking to them, and telling them what was going on.

Jesus does not need for Peace to Be upon Him. He has all the peace He needs now. He is seated at the right hand of the Father. How much more peaceful could it get? I know I have longed to just sit at the feet of God and revel in His Peace. It is a Peace that surpasses all understanding.
Maybe Mohamed needs peace. I don't know that much about him.?

Jesus is more than a prophet....he is the Messiah. And many Christians show respect for him through praise, and worship.

there were Christians that would toss a perfectly god pen after writing his name. That was about 1500 years ago. I'd say the Muslims are getting to about where we were.
