Why are so many people scared of a draft?! Where do you get this crazy notion?! There will be no draft, but by the way scaredy cats on yahoo answers act, the country will be soo scared to actually defend their freedoms they will piss their pants in fear and run to france. I think there should be a mandatory of 2 years in the service for every boy when they turn 18 years old.

Firstly, the draft will only come into play if we attack china AND india at the same time!
Secondly, the reason our military is as great as it is, is because we are a motivated VOLUNTEER force. We're easier to count on and we're easier to train, fund and equip with high-tech equipment. Every policy maker in the military & civilian world understands (its an accepted fact) that to force alot of people into our military who dont want to be there would destroy our military efficiency.

Its a non-issue. THe only people worried about drafts today are college hippies, conspiracy theorists, and Michael Moore.

NO, I don't see it happening short of a huge global conflict. It would be political suicide for the politician(s) that try it.
