montreal is a great city!
if you are a party person then you would definately love it there! There is so much to do. also, the houseing is a lot less expensive on average than the other big cities in canada. the crime rate isnt too high and its great for people of all ages. also, something i really like about it is the education system. look it up if you want to know more but its definately worth checking out. also, i like it because you get to grow up in an english and french environment learing the history of both cultures. which if you ask me, is a really great advantage.

I live in a city in northern Ontario in a city of 75,000. It has cheaper housing, the crime rates are low, but I can't say there's a lot of fun things to do. There are ski hills in the winter, and clean beaches within half hour driving distance in the summer on the shores of Lake Superior. Good fishing, good hunting, beautiful scenery and lots of forestland.
If I was to pick a city in Southern Ontario to live in, I'd say London. Anyone I know that's lived there say they love it. It's not too expensive to live there, it's not dirty, doesn't have a big crime rate, has lots of cultural things for excitement, and is only a short two hour train ride from Toronto for even more excitement. It's only one hour away from the border into US, so you don't have far to go shopping for deals now with our dollar being so high. One downfall there though, the lineups into Michigan can be a nightmare crossing the border. Long, long wait times.

First off - Ginger must be a jealous, uneducated person with very little travel experience. I loved living in North Vancouver. A little pricey, but hey, it's hard to complain when there are mountain walks or skiing after work followed by seawall walks. And contrary to popular myth, although it rains heavily in November and the early spring, the weather is mild in the winter, and hot in the summer with lots of sunshine. It is a jewel of a city.

Vancouver was rated the 3rd best city in the world to live in but I must say that it is very expensive to live there. I think Toronto is a better place, because it is cheaper than Vancouver and there are more jobs and things to do.
Check it out.

Halifax, the reaslistate is reasnobal, theres not much crime, the schools are good, not that it matters, and its a city, not a huge one but big enough, and its NOT boring. Toronto is also great but its more expensive.

Dunedin (pronounced /dÉËniËd ɪ n/ ) is a city in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. The name comes from the Scots Gaelic Dùn Ãideann meaning Edinburgh. The population was 35,691 at the 2000 census. As of 2004, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau is 36,632. . Dunedin is home to several beautiful beaches, including Dunedin Causeway, Honeymoon Island, and Caladesi Island State Park, which is consistently rated among the best beaches in the world. Dunedin is one of the few open waterfront communities from Sarasota to Cedar Key where buildings do not obscure the view.
The quaint, but thriving downtown business district has become a model for many other west-central Florida cities. It is striking in comparison to neighbouring Florida communities for its absence of commercial signage and corporate franchise restaurants and retail stores. The Pinellas Trail, a 39-mile long bicycle and pedestrian trail that traverses all of Pinellas County, intersects downtown Dunedin. On any given day, it is common for more bicycles to pass through downtown than cars.
Since 1977, Dunedin is the spring training home of the Toronto Blue Jays, as well as the class-A Minor League Dunedin Blue Jays of the Florida State League. Knology Park is situated a few blocks south of downtown on Douglas Avenue, besides the Dunedin Public Library, and a block east of the Gulf of Mexico and Edgewater Drive. Dunedin is one of the smallest communities used by Major League spring training teams, Knology Park was built as a replacement to Grant Field, the Blue Jays' first spring training ball park. Until early 2005, it was the home of Nielsen Media Research's production operations.
