I don't know!
Every year, scam artists claim Mt. Ararat in Turkey.
I haven't heard of any scientist claiming such, unless you're reading the pseudo-science magazine Biblical Archaelogy Review.

BTW, Ron Wyatt was not a scientist, he was a con artist.
