PLEASE ANSWER - Condom Question?

Ok, I asked this question before but people took it the wrong way just agreeing that for the most part that they use Trojans, but didnt say which kind they use and trust - they have many kinds...I use the ENZ - anyone else use those? i have heard both good and bad about them - otherwise which ones to you use? I know this is a strange request, but PLEASE go onto the trojan web page: http://www.trojancondoms.com/default.aspx?jumpFrame=trojan_world ... and tell me which one you use and trust...i dont feel like being a dad or getting an STD or anything, adn please dont answer "I dont use a condom" or "Keep it in your pants" becasue that is not helpful. If you use a different brand, please tell me which brand and what kind...I am just trying to pick the absolute best condom. THANKS!!!!!

Heh, you seem to be having tons of luck with the answer here aren't you...

The truth is, as some others have said, that most condoms work about the same. There are some slight differences though to be aware of.

There's the normal kind which you can't go wrong with, but they're nothing special either.

There's lubricated ones, which are generally better because well, they're lubricated. Becareful with the expiration date though, I believe lubricated ones become much less efficient after that date(usually it's over a year after buying so its not generally a problem).

There's also the spermicide ones, which offer increased protection against pregnancy, however there is something to be careful about when using those. If you read the box/instructions in the box, you'll see a warning not to use them twice in a 24 hour period, or something along those lines.

This is for the girls protection, using once isn't that bad, but if you kep going with another one the spermicide can irritate the girl, resulting in soreness and a few other things I believe(I don't have a box in front of me...) but nothing permanent. It's nothing critical, just keep that in mind. If you're planning on going for a sex marathon, I'd suggest staying away from those and going with the normal lubricated ones, but if you're doing it say 3 times a week or less, you should be fine.(Not to mention a pretty happy guy).

Hope this information helped, but as someone else suggested, doctors can be a good source of information. If you don't want to ask one in person, there are several online medical sites that can also explain the differences.

Also, to address your question directly, I have used the ENZ's, and they've worked fine. To be honest, most of the difference is just them trying to come out with new products. They all have about the same efficency.

Trojans are the best...the Magnum XL is the most comfortable. Just make sure that any brand uses spermicide and a water based lubricant. Another great brand is Lifestyles...heres a link:

Dan, First of all, I commend you for wearing one and not wanting to be a father. If I use one, its the Trojan, ribbed, lubricated, reservoir end with a spermicide on it cuz you can't be too careful. Good luck Dan-man. REMEMBER, condoms are cheaper than child support. One more thing, if that fails, use duct tape---lol. I had a buddy in college who used saran wrap; I know---tmi.

all condoms don't have a 100% chance of preventing STD's or pregnancy the highest to stop a bacterial disease (cureable) is about 80% prevention to stop some of the Viral (uncureable) is about 50% but hpv and herpes is 100% even with condom. So just be careful who youy get your jiggy on with

well personally the trojan spermicide one will be good...
it protects youa nd it kill sperms at the smae time..
if you wanna be extra sure then just make sure she is on birth control
