Brisbane and Melbourne are each one day's drive from Sydney so you have a lot of choice. Byron Bay is about 700km or so and there is is nightlife, young people and plenty of beaches.

In Australia they say if you don't live in Sydeny you are camping out, I think thats about right.

you should go to the malaysian because it have many beatiful place to visit there.
