First, to Athiest. I know that you don't believe in God, the Bible or anything else associated with it. Since I have said it for you please, look and exit out. I already know and don't need to see you tell me what I already know.

Anyways. In the Bible, God prevents the sun from setting in the sky and allows his people an extra hour to conquer their enemies. Would this be the first example of Daylight savings time? It would be pretty cool if God thought of it way back then and it took us this long to ketch up with his idea.

We can't forget the pillar over them that protected them from Pharoah, in the day time it was a pillar of a cloud, at night it was a fire that gave them light.
Exo.13:21,22; They were feed manna from heaven, Exo.16:35; quailes were sent to them, water was given to them.
Joshua crossed Jordan to end 40 years the 14th day of the New Year Josh.5:6,10,14; [ some say that would be equal to our March ];
There is all kinds of ways God could give them light at night. Extra length to the day may have been one of them.

Uh, after all that you had to say to the atheist, THATS what you had to say?? WOW!

There were two times the sun stood still as far as for a war. and both times it was for more than just an hour. Daylight savings time did not "ketch" on until the early 1900's so no it is not an example of daylight savings time because God was not trying to get the days of our present calender to coincide. They use the sacred Judean and then a civil judean calender which....what in the world am i trying to explain this stuff to you for?

God Bless and I hope you figure it out.

Yep, there are plenty of God inspired ideas that we are finally catching up to.

I wish we had a law that released ALL debts every 50 years like in OT days of Israel.
