what are some side effects, if any, if i semi-temporarly dye my hair hot pink? i have medium blonde hair, about mid back length, and i am only dying a small chunk on the underside...

I have dyed my hair funky colors several times with no bad side effects. Just be aware that the color may stick around longer than you want it to and sometimes it rubs off on clothing and bedding for a few days after being dyed.

Side effects?
Being called an unoriginal scene kid, having to dye your chunk back to its original color, as it dosent fade properly on even medium blonde hair. When my friend went semi pink on her medium blonde, she ended up with grape looking chunks. Also, be careful with the dye you use. I say use THIS http://www.amphigory.com/se_atomic_pink.html or nothing else. The others do not work well. Trust me.

None.The only thing I would suggest is go to the mall to Hot Topic and get a hot pink or fushia stainer. It will be easier on the health of your hair without causing any damage. Reason for this is the stainer will wash out in time as with hair dye. TRUST me I have been pink, blue, purple and any other color u can think of.

Haha.... merely be valuable u do not wash it for an afternoon and a a million/2 in any different case u can danger dropping it by using fact the chemical compounds have not settled in. If u have effective, skinny hair that's quite probably that's going to slip out..

Well the first side effect is : Hot Pink Hair
I would test it on a very small amount of hair
the second is : If you do it poorly you can dye your scalp that color by accident for a few months of so.

There are not side effect except peoples opinion of things you do to your appearance that is not natural. For example, in an interview, you will not be taken seriously, but at a concert or your local rave, you will be da bomb...

it fades quickly. Once it fades it looks weird and splotchy. If you keep up on it I think it looks awesome, but my fav. color is pink. Use a good shampoo that isn't harsh on color treated hair. Biolage color care is good. With med. blonde, you may want to take the piece your coloring and bleach it first, then do the pink. The pink actually adheres to the bleached "porisity" of the hair VS the non bleached hair.

It is a pain to put on and the only side effects will be the looks you get. good or bad. Unless you ingest the dye, then you should get really sick.

The only side effect is it might wipe off on your pillow at night, or stain the neck rest in the car.
