I don't post many questions, although the tally of answers appears to be growing - and it's all YOUR fault.
But one of my few questions was deleted, and WHY is truly a conundrum. (OK, class, you can quit laughing now, there are too many syllables in that word for it to mean what you thought ....)
The question was aimed at a tiny number of people in arts and music - I asked whether singer Nicolai Gedda could have been considered a heroic tenor or a lyric baritone. I sing in the same range as he did and was curious how those who care about this entirely obscure and ultimately meaningless distinction made their choices.
It was deleted.
I think 50 Cent paid off the censors.

There have been several, both Q's and A's, but the one that sticks in my memory was asking the question "What is a c*av?" From seeing the word in context, it seemed like it was Brit slang for something or other, but I couldn't figure out just what it could be, not myself being British. Anyway, it was deleted because someone took offense, so I posted it again, and got it deleted again. Must be something REALLY awful! That second letter would be h, by the way. And I still don't know what it means.

Usually only my most honest questions; where I really don't know the answer and would like about thirty opinions to see what other people think.
Oh, and a couple answers due to some idiot report ninja who was trying to delete all the Ron Paul supporters in the Politics section.

I can't keep track of it, but most of my joke questions get deleted, as do almost all my responses to questions regarding Islam. I get at least a couple violations a day, and most of the time I have no idea why.

I've had answer deleted for commenting about "2 points",
for answering a "meaning of life" question with "42"
& for responding to a Xians question with a Bible reference
Consider all of it to be random

Nothing I didn't expect to get deleted. Usually it's all the stuff when I decide to endulge a little mean-spirited fun.
I usually delete it myself after an hour or two if the censors haven't gotten to it first. Keeps my record cleaner. ;)

Probably my worst was this answer in response to an attack on evolution claiming that a partial heart was useless, there should be no thransitional fossils and that the concurrence of H. habilis and H. erectus:
------------------------------ ------------------------------
The earth worm's "heart" is a series of five pairs of muscular bands. Your partial heart hypothesis fails. Plenty of transitional fossils are known: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_transitional_fossils
As for your assertion of living "transitional" forms. The lack of continuity is called extinction. The only change necessary to to the discovery of the recent H. habilis fossil is a dead end side branch. This was no an unexpected find.

I, of course, won the appeal.
