Well, when I needed my California birth certificate, I got it with relative ease in Virginia. Just look it up on the internet. There should be an office you can go to, since you're in the same state.

County records clerk does it in FL. City records clerk does it in NJ. Every state is different. Call the city/county where he was born and ask the question. It can be done by mail, sometimes by phone.

Call the Bureau of Vital Statistics for that State, pay a fee, and you will get it. You will need to tell them his date of birth and full name and where he was born, his mothers full name at his birth and her maiden name, and fathers date of birth and where he was born

um... ya call to where he was born. Then ask them for the birth certificate of your husbands name. Then tell them your adress and to send it over to where u live.

Contact the hospital where he was born and via mail with a copy of his driver's license they should make him a copy for a fee.

i actually lost mine too ( in a flood) and i called the state building in my area and requested one to be sent . the cost was something like $10.00.
