I'm 21 years old and in the last year and a half have had 4-5 episodes of this happening. It will start off with losing a small spot in my vision missing to nearly my whole peripherial in one eye, and then my hand/arm will go numb as well as my mouth and I have a hard time remembering small things like people's names or thinking clearly. The first time this happened I had a CT scan, with no results of blood clots, and it isn't ever followed or proceeded by a headache. I've got an appt with a neuorologist scheduled but any ideas as to what I should be looking for?

Just to add to the already good answers, transient ischemic attacks (TIA), or mini-strokes, occur when the brain goes without oxygen in an area for a period of time. The same thing happens in a regular stroke (due to a blood clot, or bleeding area, or increased pressure preventing blood from reaching that area). The difference is that in TIAs the problem resolves on it's own, usually within 24 hours and has no residual problem like numbness or weakness. It's kind of like angina vs. heart attack. TIAs are a sign that the brain is going without needed blood (and therefore oxygen) and are a huge red-flag that should never be ignored. They are often a precursor to a stroke with lasting effects.
Definitely follow up with these doctors and get your answers as to what is causing these problems for you.

Good for you scheduling an appointment with a neurologist! Be sure to bring as much family medical history as you can (include mental illness and degenerative diseases, etc). It sounds like they're neurological symptoms. I suppose it's possible that you're having minor strokes. How long do these symptoms last? Blindness in one eye and mouth numbness are also both symptoms of MS. Stress and anxiety can also manifest themselves as physical symptoms.

The vision problems are termed an "Ocular Migraine". (they can be with or without pain) I get these and have for years, but I also have an autoimmune disease Antiphospholipid Syndrome and have suffered multiple strokes and TIAs from this.Sadly it sounds like you have been experiencing TIAs which often leave no residual effects. If you have ruled out a stroke, it could be either a transient ischemic attack or a type of seizure - a seizure seems more likely because of the blindness.
