Many people want to blame God for evil. But God gave us free will! Hello! You can do it God's way or Your way. Evil in certain circumstances is not free will, it could be the devils interaction with you or free will. +Many people believe if they ask God for a certain thing and don't get it at all or when and where and how, then they blame him for being evil. Why? If this is so, isn't that petty and childish? ++If come people would rather blame god for trouble than the devil?

I've made this argument before but didn't get a very positive response from Christians. Put free will aside for a moment. What if sin and evil has always existed just as God has always existed. If that's true, God can't be blamed for evil can he?

The Bible blames God for creating evil. Hello! Don't you read your Bible?

Isaiah 45 7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?

Lamentations 3:38 Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?

You can't blame God for anything; from our perspective we do have fee will.
However God is totally in charge.

"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things." Isiah 45:7

I don't blame gods for evil; there are no gods. I blame mental illness for evil. It's the only logical explanation.

You Go Girl! I just cant get over all these people who like to blame God. Even knowing he gave man free will and what they do with it is up to them. They need to talk too someone who understands the scriptures. I think its the lack of knowledge. God Bless.

so the devil killed all those people.......

Nevertheless, it still begs the question: why would you worship a god so useless, and so lacking in power that he cannot simply throw down some food for the suffering, dying people of the world; simply blow the winds in a direction that doesn't cause life ending tragedies and environmental disasters; why not-- at the very least ---get emotional about all of the suffering dying people out there that he created, and simply cry some tears for them that might help us clear up this whole drought mess......I mean, the least he could do is be upset over it!!

If God is omnipotent, He could stop any and all evil.

If God is omnibenevolent, He would want to stop all evil.

And yet evil, by any reasonable standard, exists. And an omnipotent, omnibenevolent God would stop it.

Who, incidentally, created Satan?

I think you are missing a key point. Since God knows all things he also knows every decision your going to make in advance so no there is no free-will only obey or die. Nice try though you get a cookie. Oh and you never did get around to mentioning which God you are referring to--Odin, Zeus or any other one that man has created.

The Christain god makes good and evil, it even says so in your silly little book of fairytales. If you're going to spew it, you should probably read it first.

Trouble is, if people did it gods way, I would have been stoned to death for not being married when I was 20 or so. Or maybe raped, then forced to marry the rapist.
