The guy I like, that I asked to the movies for my bday couldn't make it on my actual bday, but he can make it 2 days after, on Friday. We're going to go see Beowulf, maybe with another friend of mine (girl). Now I'm almost as nervous as I was before I asked him! I have a couple questions:
1. What to wear? NO SKIRTS I DON'T DO SKIRTS.
2. What to/not to say?
3. Snacks?
4. Anything else?

I'll be turning 17 (in 5 days), he's already 17, we're both in 11th grade.

Any help is welcome and appreciated. Thank you.

I'm assuming this is a date, so why are you bringing a girl friend? Don't you want some alone time with this guy?
1. Just dress cute and casually. You're only seeing a movie.
2. Relax. Don't try to plan out a conversation. Let it flow naturally. I wouldn't bring up past boyfriends or anything like that.
3. If you're hungry, get snacks at the theater.
4. Have fun!

wear the cutest top you have, and a pair of dark skinny jeans (if that's your style). or wear a mini dress with black leggings underneath... cute! and don't forget to top it off with flats!

try not to talk to much, but don't be a total mime. smile... and talk about something you have in common. laugh, i think guys like that. and also just make conversation when you can, but not about anything weird. like stuff going on at school, things you both experience. do not talk too much about yourself, family, or friends. it gets really boring, i admit it.

for snacks, share a popcorn, buy sodas, and maybe some candies. don't pig out, you don't want him thinking you're a pig...lol.

just be relaxed and be confident. if you act really nervous and fidgety, the whole date will be awkward and weird. have fun!
