Religions are the work or works of men. In practice religions substitute relationships with a living God to hide or search in the form of ceremony, social programs and self-conceived belief systems. There is only one benign Spirit in the Universe (Love). You have contact with God (thesis) or a religion (antithesis).

Religion is simply something men do. The thing all religions have in common, at the level of human psychology, is self justification. (Gen. 3:7). Persons confined to self justification tend to operate on Satanic principals; avoiding or in denial of any power above or beyond their own.

Are religions then the works of the devil? The answer is no because they are the works of men. The devil however is a religious spirit and makes consummate use of religion, even the world's great religions, to the destruction of many.

All religions are the works of the devil that preach another Jesus and another Gospel. Any religion where a person has to gain salvation by their works, rituals, change the Word of God, denies the Diety of Christ is of the devil.

Tommy has got it right!!!

James 1:27, "Pure RELIGION and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world".

Does this say that religion must attend church weekly, or that it is up to you to save the lost? No, just to live honestly and peaceably, and you will be known by your fruits.

Jesus didn't take a whip to the church and drive out all those making merchandise of religion for nothing.

Do, religions are the works of faith. You can't even have a devil if you don't have a religion.

If you ask me religions are man made. Those how think they know the right way and try to get you to do as they do. But Jesus is real and if you are saved he himself will lead you and guide you, and you will know in your heart if something is right or wrong

Since I don't believe in the devil (Satan or otherwise), thats a moot point. Pagans don't accept an entity representing evil, mankind is evil and mankind invented religion.

Some of them are. The Devil wants worship for himself, and at the same time wants to lead people away from the true God.
