u can pray in any position as long as your prayer and heart is sincere. I was taught that kneeling to pray shows that u r more vulnerable and willing. U dont want to go to God with your guard up and everyone knows that ur most vulnerable when ur on your knees because u r defenseless.

The first prayer I prayed was on my knees at the age of 22 !!! But any position will do if your heart is totally right !!! Kneeling is a good place to start !!!

You can do many things on your knees. Praying is one of them. But, you can pray in any particular position you feel comfortable in. Kneeling, sitting, standing....

You don't have to be on your knees to pray. You can kneel, stand, sit or lie down. God will still hear you when you pray.

To be quite honest , i have to be in really bad shape to actually drop to my knees. Physical condition and age have something to do with it, but mostly, when i pray or meditate, which to me is just seeking guidance from a higher power, i can pray anywhere, anytime, anyplace....

just my humble pagan thoughts.

Pray whatever makes you feel comfortable as long as you pray with all your heart.

I discuss, ask for direction, or say thank you most often when driving! I am alone, have some time to gather my thoughts and when troubled will drive with no music and shut off my phone for no interruptions.

Pray whenever you can. Posture isn't necessary, but will reinforce humility and worship.

Sometimes my kids attack me when I'm on my knees.

Honestly, humility is usually in this posture during prayer. Unfortunately, this is no longer "acceptable" in Western churches. Why I have no idea.
