That would be 4:45. Military time is really easy. 12 in the morning is 00:00 then 1 is 01:00 and so on.Once you hit 1 in teh afternoon you just add to get the right time. For example, 12 is 12:00 and 1 is 13:00. So, 6:37 would be 18:37.

Military time or 24 hour time does not clock over back to 1 after 12. Instead it goes all the way up to 24 and then back to one. The times work like this...

00:00 - 12:00am (midnight)
01:00 - 1:00am
02:00 - 2:00am
03:00 - 3:00am
04:00 - 4:00am
05:00 - 5:00am
06:00 - 6:00am
07:00 - 7:00am
08:00 - 8:00am
09:00 - 9:00am
10:00 - 10:00am
11:00 - 11:00am
12:00 - 12:00pm (noon)
13:00 - 1:00pm
14:00 - 2:00pm
15:00 - 3:00pm
16:00 - 4:00pm
17:00 - 5:00pm
18:00 - 6:00pm
19:00 - 7:00pm
20:00 - 8:00pm
21:00 - 9:00pm
22:00 - 10:00pm
23:00 - 11:00pm
00:00 - 21:00am (midnight)

Therefore 16:45 would be 4:45pm

If I am not mistaken you add "hrs" to the end of military time just like you add "am" or "pm" to 12-hour time. So it would be 16:45hrs.

16:45 is 4:45 in the afternoon. Military time between midnight (0000) and 12:59 PM (1259) is the same as ordinary time. From 1 PM (1300) to 11:59 PM (2359), you just subtract 12 from the first two numbers and add PM. Then you have "ordinary time".

Military time doesn't get split into a.m. or p.m. time. so if you see a time that is over 12:59 you just subtract 12:00 and you have your answer. 16:45 - 12:00 = 4:45.
