I can not reach or contact the person in my dream?

I see the person I know in the dream in a distance but can not touch them or reach them I talk to them but get no reply

This could be your mom, bf/gf, husband, sister anyone who you have been feeling that you just can't seem to make them understand you in some area of your life. This person may seem like they don't care or can't sympathize with you on the level you need them too.

In other words, your ego or waking self cant get in touch with your subconscious.
