Yes. Happy and pain are equal to all human kind from the day of its evolution. We don't need any religious support for happiness. Happiness is the one of the happenings within outselves.

From a scriptural standpoint, the concept of Holy Trinity would be in violation of the OT idoltry Law.

Deut 4:15-16 Since you saw no form on the day the LORD spoke to you at Horeb out of the midst of the fire. beware lest you act corruptly by making a graven image for yourselves, in the form of any figure, the likeness of man or female

The Concept of Holy Trinity stemmed from a couple of the roman councils that defined Christianity.

325CE Council of Nice: Promotion of the Goodman, Christ is Divine

381CE First Council of Constantinople drew up a dogmatic statement on the Trinity and defined Holy Spirit as having the same divinity expressed for the Son by the Council of Nice 56 years earlier.

One should note that these edicts were far from unanimous, but were inforced with a death penalty. There were many different 'christian' groups prior to these councils that were later destroyed because they didn't follow these edicts.

One of the things that did set the early hebrews a part from many of the other pagani traditions/religions around them was the originally, there god did not have a form--a SPIRIT, that was everywhere, in everything.

I believe one can be happy without observing each of the names you have mentioned but for many people it makes them feel good to think that there is a father, son and holy spirit.

If we didn't have the Holy Father, the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, there would be no hope.

You know we need this in our lives, we as humans sin daily, perhaps not intentional, but sometimes it may happen, no one is perfect.

We need God's wisdom to guide us, because we only see the surface of things, God sees and knows it all.

Anything is possible. If you deny the existence of such, yes, you cane be happy, providing all goes well in your life. When it doesn't, who the is to blame? Of course, it is always still God. In my life there is God the Father, Jesus the Son. The Holy Spirit, and Wisdom. Then I have at least 2 guardian Angels. My army is awesome. If they are for me, who cares who's against me? So the question was do they matter to my happiness? Yes.

God is LOVE. and he who abides in love abides in God and God in him.
We cannot be truely happy without LOVE.
So, no! We cannot be happy "without the Holy Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit" - without love that is.
Love - as in compassion and forgiveness - is the answer - whatever the question!

If life could be sustained without the sun, I guess I could be happy in a sunless world, but If given a choice, I'd much rather have the sun in my life and world and still be happy.

Yes. And that's something to worry about! If you are getting along just fine without God, you are going to eat it in the end. I can't do that, I know God. And His Spirit is with me daily. I cannot deny it. So the 'WE' you are referring to, it's not me and you. Though it might just be you.
