Yes, I'm a huge Dale Sr fan...remember who told Rick Hendrick to hire Jeff Gordon....Yep...Dale Sr...I'm not a huge fan of Jeff I've met him on several occasions, he is a great guy, he is not my favorite driver but I do not hate him...He is going to be Dale Jr's team mate next yr..I don't love or hate him...but yes he has done alot for the sport...heck I remember him back when he was a rainbow warrior.. All I have to say is let Dale Jr win some races next yr at Hendrick and I'll be okay with you Jeff..you boys can race hard.. Just don't wreck each other..okay..

I think he is an awesome driver, maybe the best of all time. I would still put Dale Sr. and Richard Petty in front of him.
However these two are from different era's of racing than Gordon and a case could be made for Gordon.
I almost Wrought Kyle Petty instead of Richard Petty above, man would I have felt stupid.

I was a big Jeff Gordon fan when he drove in USAC. But since he came over to NASCAR I can take him or leave him.

He's a great driver & to people who say they are tired of hearing his name or Jimmie's name, that's because they are good. If Jr or Stewart or whoever your driver is, were winning consistanly, would you compalin then, I don't think you would. Like or hate Jeff, one thing is for sure, he will go down in history as one of the best drivers ever

I will admit he has tons of tallent but I don't love him. In fact I cannot stand to hear him talk. I don't think he is gay because he has a beautiful wife but his voice just gets on my nerves so bad. If not for the MUTE button I would puke. He sounds like smurfette if she talked while pinching her nose closed. Between the two I would rather hear Juan Pablo Montoya talk and I only understand 1/4 of what he says.

Sorry I dont LOVE GUYS but I admit he is a very very good driver. Not just because of His wins and Championships alone. He has drove a lot of different kinds of race cars--Go-carts--1/4 Midgets--Midgets--Sprint--Late Models--Craftsman Truck--Busch Cars Cup Cars--24 Hours of Lemans and so forth!!!!

He's been my favorite driver for 12 years now.
One of the best. Rated by many as "one of the best natural racers to ever climb into a race car."

He is one of the best of the "Old" Modern Era (Pre-Chase), Jonhson is the best of the "New" Modern Era (Post-Chase)
But Jeff is still my favorite.
