"Elvira Arellano, a former illegal migrant who turned to activism during a yearlong fight to stay in the U.S., said she was holding the hunger strike "because I want our government to listen, to act, to defend our migrant families."
Speaking to a group of Mexican migrant activists, Arellano decried U.S. efforts to jail illegal migrants, put up security fences on the border and step up deportations.
"Is Mexico prepared to receive all of these deported people and their families?" Arellano said on the opening day of the "First Parliament of Mexican Migrant Leaders Who Live in the U.S."
"Is it prepared to guarantee an education to their children, who are U.S. citizens? Or is it prepared to defend them against all these attacks?" she said. "
Did you read that?
"First Parliament of Mexican Migrant Leaders Who Live in the U.S." ??
She likes titles doesn't she? Didn't she ask to be named the diplomat of peace and light to the US or something?

Yes, it's only fair. Now she wants to keep the nationals in the US because their own government would have trouble paying for their education? I have to laugh at her ridiculousness! LMAO She's an idiot.

What is wrong with that country? I mean have we taken in 30% of the population. Way the government is going you figure they are in on it. Why is she acting like that when millions have come to the country and jumped through hoops and waited five years and become citizens. Was Reagan wrong? She' just mad and figures the sqeaky wheels gets the oil, but what about the people that come her each year on visas from all over the world? You know it's over 9,000,000 and when the visas expires over 3 MILLION* of them stay and jump the visa and hide, where are they?
Why is the government overlooking them? That is not part of the "15,000,000" figure they pulled out of the air. JUst during Bush years it's 21,000,000 more, then throw in the Clinton years with above and that he increased legal immigration to 2.5 million a year and ou got 60 million roaming around, how can this great country handle this. No wonder they say it would destroy the economy. Bush cut back to 1.25 and now they announced 1 million. Mexican folks been coming here after the carrot since the country was formed and the business folks love it, but the other from around the world, and south of themlet's get real. If they won't build even a small fence, they will not and it's compromise time. Watch and see.
Hoope I can get on when they build the super highway, another waste. What do they or we ship to Cannada? Are they building that to circumvent the docks and unions?
What a lovely ****** war, Bravo Charlie out. Take care.

She must be a very busy women, earning a living, caring for her son, and calling on the Mexican government to demand the USA to treat their citizens from Mexico living illegally as she was in the USA, as if they were USA citizens. You have to hand it to her, she has no shame, luckily for us she is their pain in the, oh you know what I mean. Talk about stealing the stove and going back for the smoke.

I can't WAIT to see how the govt springs into vibrant action on opening its OWN southern border to Central Americans... BWAAAHAHA!!!
So, she wants not ONLY for Mexico to suddenly take care of the southbound influx. She wants freebies for Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Belize, Panama, Costa Rica (don't expect CR'ns to live in Mexico), and Nicaragua.
Well, good luck with that, Elvira!

"Is Mexico prepared to receive all of these deported people and their families?" Is she joking? Who cares if they are ready, a big percentage of US citizens do not want them here. Let her go hungry!
