If Buddhist do not eat beef, do they used items make out of cowhide such as bag, shoes?

Some do and some don't. It's best if they don't, but the choice is theirs.

depends on which form of buddhism they are following and where are they living.

i do know a lot of buddhists who eat beef.
it's their beleif.
