Hello, I never get excited about anything anymore. Everything just seems so small, dull, and boring. I was looking pictures of that new plane, the A380, and I thought that it looked small and boring too. Even imagining flying in First Class seems boring. What is wrong with me?

It sounds like you need some new activities. Join a club, volunteer, visit museums, make new friends.

I'm with some of the other 'answerers'...knowing Jesus- who He is, and what He is, will change you, for sure! They refer to that as "the transforming of your mind"...Romans 12:2.

I'm an Addictions Counseling student as well as a Christian, and have studied some neurology. Biologically speaking, your brain is stimulated into releasing some chemicals, called Neurotransmitters, such as Dopamine, Seratonin, Epinepherine, etc.

But when you become clinically depressed, or if it's from something else, like coming down off of Meth or some other drug, those neurotransmitters aren't being released correctly, and you don't get pleasure from anything. Check out this website...

It's one I had to use in school, and the Neuroscience for Kids is great...it'll give you some cool info on stimulation of that part of the brain...

But there's a few things you can do....

Eliminate bad stuff from your diet...sugar, caffine, etc...
Excercise daily- it produces those neurotransmitters in the brain, without drugs!
And watch your 'self-talk'...check it for errors...theres a great scripture that's helpful...

It sounds like you have no hope. When I turned from my sins and received Jesus as my Lord, then God gave me the Holy Ghost. He came into my life and my life is fun and exciting now. Even the stars appear brighter and life has meaning and a purpose.

We all have that empty spot that yearns for the only thing that can give us purpose and that one thing is God. He is the only one that can fill that emptiness and give you the joy and excitement you are looking for.

You should sky dive, naked, on acid. maybe have them drop some alligators out of the airplane after you.

If anyone says God or Jesus you are a HUGE tool. Jesus and God are about the least exciting thing in the world.
