If you are happy you have everything! Happiness is a better state of being than being right and miserable. Although it is possible to be both, one of you has to be wrong and that is not a happy state. It is better to be with someone who thinks like you do so you agree on more things. And always remember "don't sweat the small stuff". The bigger stuff is enough without the little stuff getting in the way of happiness.

Obviously the answer I should say is that I'd rather be happy. The more I think about it though, I realize it would be kind of hard for me if my only options were right and angry or happy and wrong. I will admit that I like to be right and never being right would really get to me. At the same time those stupid arguments you mention do bother me, so I try to catch myself and stop when I get caught up in those. Because it is more important to be happy, even if it means admitting you're wrong.

I learned long ago that whether I win or lose the argument is irrelevant in the overall context of things. We are all only people struggling to try to find our own answers in a world that at times can be very confusing. We are all entitled to our opinion and it is a true sign of maturity to "agree to disagree" as the old adage goes. We are all entitled to our beliefs and opinions. We don't need to make ourselves and others miserable with the constant controversies. I am happy because I am humble enough to know that I am not always right. Anyone that is self righteous enough to believe they are right, even a small percentage of the time, is an unhappy person indeed. Very good question. I liked it.

Happy... but i see arguing as a form of getting to know one another. Arguing is quite healthy and i think i would be sad if i couldent argue. The secret is not getting angry when you are wrong, and seeing it as a learning/teaching thing rather than a bickering horrible fight. :)

Over stupid petty stuff, I'd rather be happy. But really it depends... when I'm constantly having to bow down to someone just for the sake of argument, sometimes I feel the need to fight back. It's the principal in this case, not the point we're arguing over.

It comes down to some of the time you can, and some of the time you can't. Those issues in your life that you can release, you should. Issues in your life that you have to fight for,you should fight until you have no breath left. I wish the world was a idealistic place, but to be honest it is not. We have to treasure our happiness and defend it when needed...and I am not talking about the war before you get out your thumbs down. I am talking about the daily life we all must live.

I would rather be happy knowing I am entitled to my opinion and so is the other person as long as I feel it's right there is nothing to be argued.
