I am a good painter and would like to participate in upcoming competitions. I searched on google but could not find any. Actually I dont know what organizations have these competitions so I am not sure as to where to start. KIndly help me.

Try the sites : artshow and artdeadline
and if you're really good, why not enter the competitions of the International Artist magazine ? You can enter online.
The artshow website has a search by state. I guess it's on the left menu.
