I've heard once that if you start to go to gym, then you have to continue it as long as you can. If you don't then your body will crash or start to grow fat. Is this true?

Go to the gym as long as you're able to do it. You'll be much better off and most likely live longer. As far as your body going to hell after stopping the gym, see any good looking retired football players once gone for 10+ years?

You won't necessarily "crash and grow fat" if you quit going to the gym. You will likely lose some muscle mass but as far as getting fat, the depends on what you eat and how much.

You don't necessarily have to go to the gym to get exercise. Yes if you completely stop exercising you will gain some weight and not be in good shape anymore.

Of course!!

Weight loss is a commitment, a lifestyle change. You can't just work out 4 hours a day until you lose all the weight you want and then STOP working out. You'll go back into old habits.

Poor nutrition and lack of exercise will grow fat, but you don't have to go to the gym to exercise.

You will become fat if you eat fatening foods but still if you feel like your getting fatter than maybe working out is better than think and don't believe everything you hear
