The greatest gift that one can give to another is the gift of unconditional love and the freedom of the soul. We are all divine beings that will one day become Gods or Masters of Wisdom.

I am right now in the biggest storm of the last 7 1/2 years with someone I truly love. Not in a physical sense, but heart to heart, spirit to spirit. I always promised I would be a friend, No matter what. No matter what means what? No matter what. So now, the sh&* has truly hit the fan and there are no friends around that can be counted on. I prayed today. As I have all days. But today's theme was about when do you give up on someone? I concluded that the Lord never gave up on me therefore I will not give up on him. Where is the line drawn? Even the Lord has limits I think. I believe I have reached that limit. He knows what I have done. So, the greatest gift I think you can give another person besides being your spouse, is being a good friend. No matter what.

The greatest gift you could give is something that matches what the receiver needs or wants the most.

Money--for those who are struggling to make ends meet.
Blood/body parts--for those who need to live.
Encouragement/hope--for those discouraged
Forgiveness--for those who did you wrong.
Ears and understanding-for those who need to be heard
Knowledge/wisdom--for those who need to learn.
Love--for those who love you or need your love
Time--for those you tend to say "later", "I'm busy" or "I'm tired" to
One or more items on a child's wishlist.
Sex--for your spouse when he/she needs it, even if you're not in the mood.
Your own life--when giving it up means another will live.

It depends on the circumstance and who you are giving the gift to?

Sometimes even a little smile is the greatest gift.

It would be a Gift of UNCONDITIONAL acceptance, respect and love.

It seems that in this day and age, there are no values concerning accepting others for who they truly are.

So in my opinion, it would not be that of a natural gift you would present someone with, but rather a gift that comes from deep within ones heart...

Knowledge, understanding, wisdom, and skills. Anytime we can give another person those gifts, we help empower them. They in turn can empower others by paying it forward. Everyone wins. All are enriched. We make the world better. We experience joy and gratitude. We multiply love. Multiplying love is the greatest expression of love.

A new cell phone!

No, I'm not that superficial. I would have to say to give them valuble advice and suggestions to make the best choices possible. No gift is greater than knowledge.

Yourself. Not physically, but opening up yourself 100% to them. Hiding nothing, no lies, no fronts, just your raw self.

Ask yourself, and be honest with yourself, how many people have you given this gift to? This is a rare gift, that is why I believe it is the greatest.
