Your best bet would be both Maltese Pups & Shitzus due to the fact that their coats have little to no dander. This option should be taken if you are not wanting any shedding at all whether its hair or dander (which is what causes most people's allergies to act up anyways) also poodles do shed a bit (a miniscule amount) but not so much that its noticable. I just recently got a chihuahua and she does shed actually...shes long haired chihuahua so it may be different for the short haired version of the breed but i do know that mine does shed. Also alot of terriers do not shed so thats another option you should consider.

Good luck on your search!!! I love my new furbaby

A small poodle is a non shedding dog, but they do need to be bathed and groomed. You can teach yourself how to do it and save some money. It does get to be a chore. Some of the small short hair might work for you. They shed but the hairs are small and not too messy.

something with toy in its call will stay small yet for a dogs it somewhat is small and does not look to terrible small a cocker spaniel is a small dogs approximately 20lbs and that they are in straightforward terms somewhat different from an English springer spaniel by way of fact they have been merely the small of the litters that have been bred jointly to make a smaller version of the English springer.

Well, usually I think that most long-haired dogs doesn't shed as much as a short-haired dog. I may be wrong.

Maltese puppies/dogs are very good choices. Every time I know one, they don't shed very much at all, maybe not any! They are tiny things, smaller than most toy dogs when they are fully grown. Great choice of dog!

a lot of dogs shed, but there are 1 or 2 breeds that are hairless or almost hairless, and they are cute !
i have a friend that has minature shnauzers, and they dont seem to shed, another friend has shih tzu's and I never see them shed - she keeps there hair short.
the bassett hound
i have a yokie terier - he doesnt shed. i also have lhasa apso's and they dont shed (I keep there hair short)
check out www.akc.org for a complete list of dog breeds with information or you can also check out www.puppyfind.com - all breeds are listed in alphabetical order and they have a chart for each breed that tell you its size, watch dog abillity, grooming needs etc

Well, that's a lot of options. You could go with just about any toy breed, a terrier, or most small dogs in general. I would suggest looking at your library to find a dog book.
