No it not ok! The strain on her durring the pregancy and then whelping is not a good thing at all. You must bring her to the vets and have them determine what would be in the best interest of your dog in this situation.
How in the world could you have allowed this to happen to her knowing she has a heart murmur!

Okay, so once I get past the whole-"Why would you let your dog get pregnant when she has this condition?" thing, you now have a potentially dangerous situation. To have your girl spayed means anesthesia, which a dog with a heart murmur may not wake up from. Or a pregnancy that puts so much strain on the heart that she doesn't survive.
I would be at the vet right now talking about my options if I were you, and make darn sure that dog never gets pregnant again. Poor thing.

Depends on the health of the dog and how bad the heart murmur is. Let your vet tell you. It might be a good idea to end her pregnancy and have her neutered. You could be bring into the world an entire litter of cute little puppies all with birth defects to live unhappy short lives. Think it over and follow your vet's advise.

Since you knew she had a murmur you should have already had her fixed.

I would ask the vet...but she should be OK...just keep her fit and not fat...and I am sure you will be hearing from the spay/neuter advocates probably sooner than later....the vet may suggest that you spay her for her health's sake if it is going to bother her to have puppies.
If you don't plan on making her a lifelong brood b&*ch for making puppies it really doesn't make them a "better" dog to have a litter of puppies before spaying them. This is a myth. And the mammary gland cancers are higher in female dogs that have had that one litter before spaying as opposed to spaying before the one litter and as opposed to them being a brood bit&h....
With the heart murmur though considering her for a brood bit&h would not be advisable as that is a birth defect and she can pass it on.
So those are your options....I would let the vet tell you whether or not this will be a problem.

I would take her into a vet and have her checked but looks like the strain of labor will be to much on her heart I don't even know how safe it would be to put her to sleep for a c-section with one
