Have you done any research on these brands, cuz im not familiar with them and can only assume they are cheap..... go to www.musicansfriend.com and check out the electric guitar starter packs and compare. Also, chords are pretty cheap. Like 10 bucks...again, check with musiciansfriend.com...

That's cool...Johnson has some cool amps. I would say that it is a good deal...a good starting rig. A guitar cord can cost you anywhere from $10 - $100, depending on length, quailty, brand, etc.

Yngwie Malmsteen, Tom Dumont (no doubt) and George Lynch are all sponsored by Johnson.

Good Luck

if you have never played guitar b4 and are eger to learn then i would say yes. other wise no. for a few reasons.

1. both of those instruments sorry to say are pieces of crap.

2. if you wanna play you can buy a better guitar and amp (not to mention cord, case, picks, strap and DVD) for less price.

what im talking about are the guitar starter kits. its like a combo pack that has a guitar, amp, strap, cord, case, picks, and a dvd all in one usually for $100. i suggest you get those way b4 you spend your money on pieces of junk.

good luck and have fun!!

They are cheap "no-name" made in China stuff. Probably OK to learn with, but after 6 months you'll want something better. A cord is 6 to 10 bucks.
