No prob.
The cults that preach anti-gay philosophy as doctrine as just fueled by misinterpetations. They like to pull out Leviticus when it does serve their purpose, but if a person actually DOES READ Leviticus a person FIRST has to offer up a peace offering as a sacrifice just to enter INTO the covanent and they have to follow each and every tenet to remain a part of it.
In the other OT covanents the only laws that would be parallel to the levitical would be in dealing with having sex with temple 'virgins'. Though also with these covanents a person would have to enter into them by vowing to uphold these tenets.
Deut 23:21-23 If you make a vow to the LORD your God, do not be slow to pay it, for the LORD your God will certainly demand it of you and you will be guilty of sin. 22 But if you refrain from making a vow, you will not be guilty. 23 Whatever your lips utter you must be sure to do, because you made your vow freely to the LORD your God with your own mouth.
'Paul" does have a couple of verses that include homosexuality as sins. A person should keep in mind that in neither the aramaic (hebrew) nor the koinic greek was there a word that meant 'homosexual'. Sure there were alot of terms for 'homosexual' acts and behavior, but no word that meant 'homosexual'. Thus if your bible does use the term 'homosexual', one should be leering of the revisionists own 'prejudgments' spilling into the text.
The christian propaganda also bring out the sodom reference, but this was a 9th century mistranslations of the term "ta'dah" which means 'to know'. If all the guys in sodom were 'gay', Lot would have known this---if so why would he offer his daughters to the people.
Hehehee also 'sodom' comes from the hebrew term "s'dom" which means BURNT. Hheheee or Gamorrah stems from 'amorah' meaning RUINED HEAP....if they were homosexual towns wouldn't they have better names...hehehehee. One should also remember that it wasn't just sodom and gamorrah that were destroyed, but ALL the Cities of the Plains, which were Canaanite cites. The five cities of the plain were Zeboim, Admah, Bela or Zoar, Sodom, and Gomorrah.
If it was the act of homosexuality that was the cause of their destruction, why would it not be included when spoken of else were in the scriptures.
(In response to why God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah) Deut 29:25-27 Men should say, 'It is because they forsook the covenant of the LORD, the God of their Fathers, which He made with them when He brought them out of the Land of Egypt, and went and served OTHER gods and worshipped them, gods whom he had not allotted them; therefore the anger of the Lord was kindled against this land, bringing upon it all the curses of this book
EZE 16:49 " 'now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy.”
Though there is a verse which can be interpeted as being PRO gay. 1 Samuel 18. A gay marriage between David and Jonathan. All of the qualifying factors that define marriage are present--the vows, the loving, the merging of souls, and Cleving---from the text. Though most Christiains like to claim that they were JUST FRIENDs, but get real. A guy strips naked in front of another guy and professes his undying love, and they go home together...sure sounds like SPECIAL friends to me...heheheee.

There is truly no such thing as a homosexual Christian. The two are opposites of eachother. If on has truly accept the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, their heart would be changed, and they would seek God's guidance in turning away from their sinful life.
As a Christian, I have a number of gay friends, and we speak openly about their sin, and God's Word. I pray for them every day, that the Lord will reach out to them and save them. All things are possible with God.
God bless.

No opinion here...just Bible direction.
(1 Corinthians 6:9) What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men,
(1 Timothy 1:10) fornicators, men who lie with males, kidnappers, liars, false swearers, and whatever other thing is in opposition to the healthful teaching
God's view on this subject is very clear.

you should love the person... just not the homosexuality because that is a sin...i would personally try to show them the love of Jesus and i have done that to some of my bisexual friends(they're not all bi but some are) it will some times work, sometimes it wont but that doesnt matter they still have that knowledge in their hearts and might repent of homosexuality later on

To be saved, you must be born again. Regardless if your sin is homosexuality or adultry, or whatever... Remember as Christians: love the sinner, hate the sin.

The church is really hypocritical on that subject, they say homosexuality is wrong but then they protect priests who are gay some are even pedophiles. They should change there stance and welcome everybody, aren't we all created equal?

The scripture is clear - such cannot be part of the Kingdom. Neither can drunkards, fornicators, adulterers, etc. It's all there in 1Corinthians.
It is not a matter of what my opinion is. God's word is clear. Anyone who lives a life outside of His design and refuses to live according to God's standards and design has no place in the Kingdom.
Are such welcome in my local church? Yes. But, their life will come into account. God will require them to decide if they want Him, or not. And, to follow God will require change - our old ways must yield to holiness.

I don't understand how they can bear to remain in a faith that treats them so badly. Why don't more gays look for truth in another place? Why the reliance of the religion that rejects them when they know in their hearts, their creator would not ever reject them? I do not understand.

I don't think anyone should be turned away from the Lords house regardless of sexual preference., the ones that are confused or seeking Jesus, should be allowed to do that.
