I'd say it's just common sense, myself. I'm Jewish, and I think lots of things are silly too ;-)

Na, there are plenty of silly things out there that have nothing to do with Religion. Speaking ones mind can often be construed as a form of evangelism, but there are a lot of things within religion that a reasonable person shouldn't have any argument with.
