Souls are not real, spirits are not real, you decompose in a casket

It's just my personal opinion that I believe the spirit and soul are one and live in the mind of a person. That when our body dies our soul lives in another dimension at a different vibration of energy. A vibrational existence where thought is the travel mode and time not as we perceive it from our world.

no, animals don't have souls. and fyi, most human beings don't either. A "soul" is a body of a molecular nature that some individualy MAY acquire through long and difficult psychological work on themself. To think that we can be just GIVEN this higher body is just fantasy. Ask yourself this. Can you go to Peru in one second? And then to Hawaii the next? You could if you had a soul. Walt Whitman could do that. He DID have a soul. But for us? No, we don't have souls yet.

Ecc 12:6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

When the flesh dies we are done with it, back to dust it goes.

The soul and the spirit are the same thing, the instant that the flesh dies, it returns from which it came IE: to the father YHVH
and the flesh returns from which it came IE: to the earth.

Genesis 2:7  And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Man IS a living soul!

Genesis 3:19  In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

We came from the dust, that is exactly where we will return!

Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

The Spirit that GOD breathed into us goes back to GOD.

Other verses that support this:

Psalms 146:4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

Psalms 115:17 The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

Much more can be said.

it all depends.. alot will say that souls and spirits dont exst... but if u beleave in it then thats great.. i beleave that when you die, your soul goes into another life, as well as your spirit, for instence, lets say king arther, his spirit can live on and his soul could be in another life taking over anothers body.... yet alot will read this and think im crazy.. so be it.. like i said.. it all matters if you beleave and how you beleave

if you have salvation in Christ your soul will go to Him. the spirit is where the Holy Spirit comes into us and transforms us. the soul is where we fight our daily battles and where Christ comes in once we are saved. our spirits are holy just as the Holy Spirit is holy. the soul overflows to the spirit and in the spirit we gain knowledge of Christ.

The soul goes wherever it wants to go. We all become wandering spirits.
