Japanese PS2 games will run only on japanese PS3 (marked NTSC J).

PS2 games are region locked, to play a japanese ps2 game it requires you have a japanese ps3

No, PS3's are only region free for PS3 games. Al other media is still region locked.

No unless you can self code, and you can speak a foreign language. Don't do it though you can mes up your system
