I had been drink one night and I decided to call this girl up that I have started to have feelings for. I know that she has a bf but she flirts with me and even others can tell by the way we are around eachother that we like eachother. But that night we started to talk and in the middle of the conversation she tells me this friend of hers and then gave me his last name and continued on with the conversation. The friend she was talking about was her bf. Why would she call him a friend and use his last name? Was it because I had been drinking and she didn't want me to get mad about her talking about her boyfriend or does she have something else on her mind?

Sounds like she is trying to play the both of you. She has to have her cake and eat it to.
She needs to be honest w/ you. Before you have feelings take a time-out to think about things, before you go any further!

This gal knows that you know she has a boyfriend, so why would she try to hide it because you're drunk. It is more likely she was trying to remind you in a nice round about fashion that she has a man since she was aware of your feelings for her.I will advise that you do not place any hope in building any type of romantic relationship with her and just be satisfied with being her friend.The flirting, in your situation , I think is innocent, and does not indicate a desire to begin an affair with you.I suggest that you look elsewhere for a romantic object of affection.

the fact that she has a bf should tell you that she has committment issues because she's flirting with you and as you said everybody knows so i'd back up and take a long hard look at her situation before you get too deeply involved and trouble creeps in. be careful with this one it could backfire in your face as in getting played to make the other guy jealous or react to the situation of her flirting with you or anybody else.

i agree. this girl is playin games yo. don't let it get to your head. it's good that you aren't assuming things, because that would lead to an expectation which would lead to a broken heart. just play it out, everything takes some time :]
