Here in Washington, D.C. I pay $60.00 for a liter of Silver. There is something more expensive, but it is not any better, even though someone told me that I was too cheap to buy the good stuff.

It can range from $40 to $250 depending on the size and Grade of it. I recommend going to the patron website not only should you know why its expensive and sooooooooo goood but its an entertaining site. My favorite is the Anejo mmm mmmm good
silver is my second favorite. Also try tres gereraciones its great tequila smooth its made by sauza.

Since you already got you're answer on cost let me recomend something else. Patrone Cafe' is a tequila/coffe liquer that I keep in the freezer. It's great frozen or in my coffee in the morning. It's around $30 a bottle too, but hard to find.

35 For the small bottle and a lil more for the bigger one. Buy it though. Its good and goes down really smooth. Much better than the cheap stuff lol
