You have one of two choices:Remain his platonic friend or stop being his friend altogether.You've only liked him for about three weeks so you have not put in a lot of effort and energy into trying to date him.I advise you to stay his friend even though you want more.He sounds like a nice guy; at least he is honest.However, if you believe that you can not just be his friend, then let him know and then cut off all contact I hope you don't do that tough. if he doesn't want to be in a relationship, theres nothing you can do. If you try to force him to like you, he just be turned off and like you less. Just be friends for now and see where it takes you.
