when i call my boyfriend && his parents answer, what should i say?

should i ask to talk to him, or start a conversation, ro say "sir//ma'am" orrrrr call them by "mrs//mr" and their last name

my main concern though is that when his sis is home i'll call her "mrs...." instead of her name. if that makes any sense

I'd avoid being overly formal, most teens don't speak this way and it sounds "put on" to us. Parents would rather you be yourself so we can get to know you or have the feeling we are, anyway.
