Pain is what? You have physical pain, emotional pain and psychological pain and all three are interlinked. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, with Psoriasis, the finger joints have gone and the discs are prolapsing in my spine, so hitting the nerve roots, extreme pain. However for all the above 'problems' and I quote 'You do not look ill' or 'You look well!' However their are many ways to cope outside of just medication. I am not depressed, have never been diagnosed with depression, in fact laugh a lot, because when we laugh our body manufacture its own pain killers. Likewise pain is a perception and we all know perceptions can be deceptive. Some people get themselves into a serious situation in life that eventually has a serious affect on their own health. Once the life situation is resolved, the health situation improves, it is very much a mind body connection. Therefore everything can work, from positive thought to tapping, whistling, Praying the list is endless. We are all individuals, so what works for one might not work for another, therefore my motto try everything until you find what suits you best. Good Luck
